We are the only official Escuela de Flamenco de Andalucía (EFA) center in California — offering internationally accredited training with a direct pathway to conservatory-level certification, with exams conducted by experts from Spain.

Every class is rooted in authentic Andalusian tradition, taught by Angela Arteritano, MFA. Students in the certification track gain access to special workshops, potential travel to Spain, and EFA membership benefits including discounts on professional flamenco shoes.

Beginning · Ages 5+
Pre-Flamenco
No previous experience required

An introduction to flamenco music, rhythm, and dance for young children. Vibrant, dynamic, and playful — designed to build a joyful relationship with flamenco from the very start.

Intermediate · Ages 9+
Flamenco I
By placement only

In-depth technique covering footwork, turns, and body placement. Students explore more complex styles including Tangos, Tanguillos, and Fandangos. Placement required.

Beginning · Adults
Adult Beginner
No previous experience required

Learn Sevillanas and basic aflamencados styles in a dynamic, welcoming environment. The perfect entry point for adults discovering flamenco for the first time.

Advanced · Adults
Intermediate Flamenco
Continuing students

Elevates students through advanced footwork, turns, and body movement. Integrates traditional elements — castañuelas, abanicos, mantones, and batas de cola — and more complex variations.

Angela Arteritano
Master Artist & Educator

Angela Arteritano is a Venezuelan American multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and EFA-accredited flamenco educator based in Vacaville, CA. She holds an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University and her work has been presented across the United States and abroad.

Her artistic practice has been recognized through prestigious grants, film festival awards, and civic honors. A recipient of the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives, Angela brings internationally connected artistic credentials to every class she teaches. Her deep ties to the flamenco world in Spain ensure that every student receives authentic, living instruction — not a recreation of tradition, but tradition itself.

As Founder and Executive Director of the Arteritano Foundation, Angela’s teaching is part of a larger mission: to make world-class flamenco education accessible to everyone in Vacaville and Solano County.
